One year of Introvert Zone!

It was a year ago today I bought this domain, and I eagerly set up the blog that very night. It’s been a great year getting to know all of you, and I’ve learned a lot about myself and my natural tendencies as well as how to use that knowledge to have a happier life!

Now’s when I’m supposed to say we will have a reception or a tiresome party after work to celebrate this event. No, this is a good milestone, so why ruin it with boring small talk and crowded rooms? :) Someday in a few years maybe we will rent a big convention hall and get together, but I guarantee you that instead of knots of people and awkwardness there will be areas in every part of the room with things to do or observe. Games to watch, animals to pet, books to look through, and other things I think introverts will like.

Happy anniversary everyone!

Not to take anything away from CB’s tremendous accomplishment.

I also would like to thank you Nancy for your contribution to the introvert community. There is a vast imbalance of voices out there supporting us introverts. I’m glad that you are out there helping me and many others.

I’m anxiously awaiting your next book.

Happy anniversary!

Wow, it’s been a year already, time does fly when your having fun doesn’t it?

I want to thank you for all you do for the community. I know that it can be a challenge to keep up a blog and not just write but be invested in the community and the conversation.

I also want to thank you for the support that you have given me personally as a blogger. It’s that community and conversation that motivates us to keep blogging.

I look forward to what this second year will bring.

Thanks Nick! It really has flown. I appreciate you too – it’s been awesome to have you to talk to “behind the scenes” as we run into things and maybe change focus a little here and there.

Thanks Brianna! Me too! And I must confess – that’s one of the favorite things I daydream about when my mind is racing and I can’t go to sleep at night. I just go to our introvert party and find all of you and talk with you! Guess we’ll have to wear name tags. :)

Dear cb,

Congratulation on you first year´s anniversary :) )

You made this blog and forum a true retreat for us to meet alikes, discuss, laugh, find support and encouragement!

Also a big thank you to all who help making this one of my fave daily hangouts!!

And for the convention: As I plan to move to the States, I would adore to attend, and also help you with it.

Happy weekend, and to many years of uninterrrupted introverting together :)

Congratulations on a very successful first year. This blog is doing exceptionally well because it contains exceptional content.

I love the points you make and the way you make them.

Keep up the good work.

Natalie thank you so much! This blog is mainly doing so well because of wonderful readers like you who take the time to comment and talk to each other. This has become a place where introverts can come and ask each other for advice, think about our choices, or simply rant. :) Thanks again for the kind words!

Happy Anniversary and I wanna say congratulations for a year of success. How about an online celebration? We can all get together like having a webinar or just a conference…

Reply

32 IntrovertZone

Thanks! Yes, we may have to do that someday! Of course a lot of introverts enjoy the fact that they can read and respond to each other but in a way that’s not *immediate.* :)

congrats on your great accomplishments do you have any thoughts on creating another site? where do you see the site going if you dont mind me asking?

Reply

36 IntrovertZone

Hi Jason, thanks! I already have several other sites, and I just work on each one in turn as I get good ideas for them.

This is site is my “baby” though, of course, and I’d love to see its community get even more active. I’ve been shopping for forum software that would give us more features, but I still think it’s important that people are able to log in with accounts they already have (Google, Twitter, Facebook). I want this to be a place where introverts can always find someone to talk to – someone who totally “gets” it.
